Pure tonka bean powder - 500 g

The tonka bean, native to South America, is a fragrant seed from the Brazilian teak tree (Dipteryx odorata). This small, black, wrinkled, oval-shaped seed is famous for its complex, bewitching aromas, reminiscent of a blend of vanilla, almond, caramel, cinnamon and freshly cut hay.
In gastronomy, tonka bean is used to flavour a variety of dishes, from desserts such as crème brûlée, ice cream and chocolate, to savoury dishes where it adds an exotic touch. A small amount is all it takes to infuse preparations with its intense fragrance.
Tonka bean powder is often used in culinary preparations. A few zests are all you need to flavour a recipe.
Ingredients: Ground Tonka beans.
Method of production: Tonka beans are ground and sieved.
Variety: Dipterys odorata.
For foodstuffs, limited use. Not intended for consumption as is.
Dosage: 1 to 10 g/kg.
Storage: Close tightly after use, keep away from light and heat.
